State Minister Dr. M. A. Mohit Commits to Amending Disability Rights Law through Stakeholder Consultation

27 June 2026 | Dhaka: At the stakeholder dialogue, “Towards an Inclusive Bangladesh: Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Way Forward,” Dr. M. A. Mohit, State Minister for Health and Family Welfare, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to amend the Disability Rights and Protection Act through consultations with persons with disabilities and their representative organizations. The National Grassroots Disability Organization (NGDO) actively participated in the dialogue, providing valuable recommendations to strengthen disability rights, inclusion, and the effective implementation of the law.
