Day-long training workshop was held for the DPO leaders from the grassroots of the project working area Chuyadanga ( 20 July 2017) conducted by Advocate Rejaul Karim Siddiquee from BLAS.

The Rights and Persons with Disabilities Act 2013 has been told to ensure access to justice of people with disabilities. A big obstacle to ensuring the rights and justice of people with disabilities is lack of awareness among persons with disabilities and responsibilities. Through the training, participants with disabilities could learn what to do to ensure their justice.

The CRPD article 13 i.e. access to justice were discussed in the training and the participants shared their experiences on the issues of access to justice of the persons with disabilities in line the CRPD and SDGs.
